The Premise of Age-Based Genomic Screening (ABGS)

Targeted genomic screening for highly actionable conditions during routine well-child visits when genetic information is most useful to providers and parents.

We will be collaborating with providers and parents to explore the…

…of implementing these innovative screenings into a clinical setting

Stick figures at different age points going from: infant, toddler, small child, child, older child, teenager, and young adult/graduating adult.

This approach introduces genomic screening over time, preparing adolescents to engage in decision-making about future screening when they reach adulthood.
